A nod to both Douglas Adams and Iain Banks today with this, a photographic reference from the tourist trap that is Camden.

I know the Douglas Adams reference but why Iain Banks?

In 'Walking on Glass' one of the main characters thinks he is an alien exiled on Earth. His only clues to his existence are found in pulp sci-fi novels and the name of a real estate agency in Camden.

And as it turns out, he is actually an alien exiled on earth - so this whole real estate agency thing is deeply disturbing...

(Full disclosure requires me to point out I would have had to ask Rich's question if he hadn't!)

Indeed, I think 'Walking on Glass; is my favourite Iain Bank's book (note, to give me two favourite books by the one author I distinguish between Iain and Iain M.).

In his case that's a necessary dodge. I'd hate to have to choose between Iain and Iain M myself.

Perhaps we should petition him to add a few more initials to his name for reprints so we can further speciate out our favourites?
